Born in Bombay with an alma mater of Narsee Monjee and Indian School of Business, a commerce graduation did not stop Pratik Agrawal from taking up technical endevours. With a keen insight into behavioral change and alongwith his co-founder Raj Desai, he started ThinkScream in 2011.Their beginning thought was to create a new medium of advertising, but while facing insane amount of red tape in the government work there for months and while working out of cafes etc., they realized how internet is a big problem and a basic necessity.
They deep dived into Wi-Fi, providing free internet to end users. At one cultural festival, in 2013, ThinkScream created the WiFi Trash Bin. Basic concept was to give people what they want by getting them to do what they would ideally desire to. It was an insane hit. Later in 2015, the product got featured on CNN IBN’s Networked India initiative in top 5 innovative products of the country. It got a lot of traction and covered by all major media like HuffPost, TOI, ET and many more!
