Abhishek Jain is a film maker and the founder of CineMan Productions Ltd.
At the age of 26, he got recognized as a ‘Trendsetter of the year 2012’
followed by‘Innovation achievers award for contribution in Films & Advertisement’
by the Gujarat Innovation Society- a felicitation initiated by the Government of Gujarat.
As an entrepreneur, Abhishek has innate understanding of the business of films and as a filmmaker he
has distinct creative sensibilities that marry the market and imaginative.
Abhishek’s conviction has already created a benchmark in the Gujarati Film Industry with his path
breaking debut feature film- ‘Kevi Rite Jaish’ which settled a milestone as a revival of the Gujarati film
industry, and his second feature film- ‘Bey Yaar’ went up to become the widest released, longest running
and highest grossing Gujarati film ever.
Astronomer and astrophotographer
Navaneeth Unnikrishnan is an Indian Astronomer and Astrophotographer from Kerala.
He started photography as a hobby using a basic Canon DSLR and later specialized in
imaging Deep Sky Objects. His images are published in Magazines and websites including
National Geographic BBC Earth, Space.com and also the winner of photography competition
conducted byNational Geographic Traveller India and National Students Space Challenge
2014 hosted by IIT Kharagpur.
Founded Prayas, a free coaching institute for slum children
Ispired by her father, Beena Rao is one such person who is changing who is changing
the lives of thousands of slum children aroun her with her simple initiative.
She introduced Prayas, a free coaching institute for slum children, with the help of her husband in 2006.
initially having started with teaching 2-3 children herself she now has a team of 34 volunteers who teach around
1200 students at eight different coaching centers across Surat, Gujarat.
Rao, with the help of various volunteers, conducts coaching for the students o classes
3rd - 8th standard at various locations for free.
She pays rs. 1000-1500 to various volunteers out of her own pocket or some donations that prayas recieves.
Chairman of the Development Alternatives Group
Ashok Khosla is Chairman of the Development Alternatives Group, a consortium of
social enterprises based in India whose mission is to create technologies,
businesses and markets for large scale generation of sustainable livelihoods.
Earlier, he was Director of the Office of Environment, Government of India,
and Director, Infoterra in the United Nations Environment Programme. He is
President of the Club of Rome and has been a Member of the Governing Bodies
of the World Economic Forum in Davos, IUCN, WWF, IISD, the Stockholm Environment
Institute, WETV and several other Indian and international organizations.
He was Special Advisor to the Brundtland Commission and Chairman of the NGO
Forum at the ‘92 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro. He has been board member of
many government, industry and NGO bodies in India, including the National Security
Advisory Board, the Science Advisory Committee to the Cabinet and the National
Environment Council. Ashok Khosla studied at the Universities of Cambridge and Harvard.
He was awarded the Stockholm Challenge Award in 2002, the UN Sasakawa Environment
Prize in 2002 and the Schwab Foundation’s Award for Outstanding Social Entrepreneur in 2004.
Pianist/keyboardist (Indian Jam Project)
The brains behind the Indian Adaptations, Tushar is a self taught pianist/keyboardist
who has been playing since the age of 4. His creative process for Indian Jam Project
involves composing Indianised parts for his instrument (keys) as well as all the other
instruments that are being played (flute, sarangi, sitar,etc.), blending them with the
western pieces of music and putting them together as a single arrangement for the amazing
musicians to replicate. The arrangements, performed amazingly by the musicians and himself,
have received love from all over the world, including appreciation from Michael Price
(Emmy winner) and Mark Gattiss (BBC Producer/Actor of Sherlock). This is a great encouragement
for him and the team to make and perform even more Indian adaptations of western tv themes and movie scores.
Professor of Political Science
" Political Science is way more difficult than quantum science! " He has completed his education in
the discipline of Political Science from The Maharja Sayajirao University of Baroda. As a appreciation
for his achievements he was awarded two gold medals by the University. In his Masters exam he worked on
a dissertation entitled "In the Face of Violence: Revisiting Hobbes, Locke and Kant" and is also awarded
Junior Fellowship by the Centre for Contemporary Theory, Vadodara for the month of November 2007 Since 2009
he has been serving as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the Institute of Law, Nirma University.
As a teacher he has been pivotal in designing courses which raises difficult questions about reality and critiquing
the established mainstream framework by rigorously debating the ideas by close reading of texts and epochs.

B V Doshi
He is a pioneering architect, a teacher and an influential architectural thinker of modern India. His studio,
Vastu-Shilpa (environmental design), was established in 1955.Doshi worked closely with Louis Kahn and Anant Raje,
when Kahn designed the campus of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Doshi is a Fellow of the Royal
Institute of British Architects, and has been on the selection committee for the Pritzker Prize, the Indira Gandhi
National Centre for Arts, and the Aga Khan Award for Architecture. He is also a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Architects.
His buildings include NIFT Delhi, IIM Bangalore, CEPT University, Ahmedabad, Amdvad ni Gufa and many more. He has been awarded
the Padma Shri ,Honorary doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania and France's highest honour for arts the 'Officer of the

Dr Ketan Kotecha is an Educationist and a passionate teacher with 18 years
of teachingexperience. He has guided several Masters and Doctoral Thesis.
His Research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Computer Algorithms &
Machine Learning and he has more than 50 papers published /presented in international conferences around the world,to his credit.
Currently he is leading Parul University as a Vice chancellor.

Mr. Tapan Misra, outstanding and director of
ISRO Space Applications Centre, Ahmedabad.
Mr Tapan Misra is also heading the Office of Innovations
Management of ISRO at ISRO Headquarters, Bengaluru.
Mr Tapan Misra was awarded Hari Om Ashram Prerit Vikram
Sarabhai research Award in 2004 and ISRO Merit award in 2008 for
his contribution to the development of SAR technology. He was elected
as Fellow of Indian National Academy of Engineering in 2007. He was also
elected as Corresponding Member of International Academy of Astronautics in 2008.
He has 2 granted patents, 6 pending patents, 5 copyrights and many research papers to his credit.
